"La
Grange" and its environment... |
from the top of "La Grange", at night fall . On the leftside of the picture: hills of the Lot department, the Domme plateau (center), Sarlat's heights. Bottom and center : the Valley of the Dordogne Langlade lies 211-240 metres high. The main advantage is that -most of the time- we do not suffer from morning mists that often settle in the Valley of the Dordogne (80 metres) until the end of the morning. 339 metres is the local record to be seen a few kilometres from Proissans in "Fontgoutoune". When weather conditions are good, you can see the famous "Monts d'Auvergne" from here. When in "La Grange" (see picture), hikers will follow the path through "Bois de Barde" to the so-called "Marcès", and to the famous gardens of Manoir d'Eyrignac. |
Small road offering nice walks with amazing panoramas onto the surrounding hills. The road to SALIGNAC will lead you to the major hiking paths: you'll walk down to the small valley before walking up to the so-called "Empeyte" (271 metres high), where you'll discover a marvellous panorama over the hills of the Lot department.
